Favorite Childen's Books
During the next few weeks, I'll be listing some of my favorite books for children. Our literature class professor, Dr. Baylen wants us to post 50 titles from a variety of genres and media. Be sure to let me know your favorites!
Sony- I just finished reading the book Sahara Special by Esme Raji Codell. It is a school story about a special ed girl who is retained in 5th grade. Her mother chooses not to have her pulled out for special services, and through a very original and creative teacher she learns a lot about herself-most importantly she learns she is a writer. I hope you'll get some time to read it. Hugs Dollie

I just left a comment on Glovis' blog about this. One of my favorite books to read aloud is Cloudy with a chance of meatballs by Judy Barrett.
