Sony- I just finished reading the book Sahara Special by Esme Raji Codell. It is a school story about a special ed girl who is retained in 5th grade. Her mother chooses not to have her pulled out for special services, and through a very original and creative teacher she learns a lot about herself-most importantly she learns she is a writer. I hope you'll get some time to read it. Hugs
