What My Mom Read to Me

Wright, D. (1964). Edith & Mr. Bear. Houghton Mifflin. Fiction. Ages 5-8.

"The Lonely Doll series is one of my favorites!" writes my daughter, Sara. If she posts on my blog about Edith and Mr. Bear, you know it was a great book to read to young children. Kids will enjoy looking at the pictures of Edith and Mr. Bear getting into all kinds of trouble. A book your students will love and you can use as a writing model in your classroom.

(Edith and Mr. Bears adventures appeal to both young and old. Added to post by RM. Thank you Sara for sharing with us.
